Maria Angela Novitasari has always had to juggle between her career in the healthcare industry and being a mom. It was a challenge that only intensified during the pandemic. “As a mom to two kids, one of whom has special needs, I needed the autonomy to structure my day so I can be there for my family and career. To upskill myself, I also enrolled in an MBA programme, and preparing for it took up even more of my attention. So, I began looking for a new workplace with hybrid and flexible work arrangements,” she explains.
