Karina moved to Singapore in 2014 where she worked as a Senior Credit Controller. After 7 years abroad, she decided to take the plunge and move back to Indonesia. What made her move back was largely due to our International Candidate Manager (ICM) who reached out to her via LinkedIn to explain the Return Home Campaign to her, detailing the great opportunities that were available for her back home.

Return Home program introduced me to some great career opportunities in Indonesia which I didn’t know existed previously.

In fact, she did not utilize other career platforms in her job search as she did not believe that there were better opportunities for her apart from those in Singapore. A few factors contributed to her concerns of returning home to work in an entirely different work environment, such as people’s working ethics as well as the possibility of drawing a lower salary.

However, after communicating and thoroughly understanding Karina’s interests and work experience in Singapore, our international candidate manager and consultants were able to connect her with a well-known corporation that had a senior position available that perfectly fit her requirements. After just 3 rounds of interview, Karina successfully landed the job!
