What you'll do:

As a Senior Frontend Engineer based in Jakarta, you will immerse yourself in designing sophisticated web applications that set new benchmarks for user experience in the e-commerce sector. • Debug, diagnose, and resolve intricate issues using advanced developer tools like memory profiling, network analysis, and Lighthouse audits.
• Implement and manage server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) frameworks to enhance SEO effectiveness and content delivery performance.
• Oversee continuous integration and deployment pipelines via GitLab to guarantee smooth delivery processes across multiple environments.
• Champion frontend best practices by conducting code reviews, promoting code quality standards, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and supporting automated testing strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, Information Systems or related field is required for this position.
• At least six years of hands-on experience in modern JavaScript development covering both fundamental concepts such as closures and currying as well as advanced topics like promises and custom polyfills.
• Demonstrated expertise in building scalable interfaces using React.js with a focus on delivering superior customer experiences.
• Practical experience utilising Node.js for developing performant services or integration layers within large-scale applications.
• Proficiency in bundling tools such as Webpack or Gulp for build optimisation purposes within complex project structures.
• Comprehensive understanding of HTML5 standards alongside modern CSS methodologies including CSS Modules for modular component styling.
• Experience managing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or similar platforms.
• Deep familiarity with auditing web performance metrics (FP/LCP/CLS/INP) coupled with proven ability to implement improvements based on findings from browser DevTools or Lighthouse reports.
• Hands-on experience implementing SSR/SSG architectures to support SEO strategies within single-page applications or content-driven sites.
• Exposure to customer experience engines with the ability to translate CX requirements into effective UI behaviours that enhance usability.
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals relevant to SPA/SSR/content rendering scenarios within modern web ecosystems.
• Experience writing unit tests using React Testing Library (RTL) or equivalent frameworks for robust code coverage assurance.
• Familiarity with code quality tools such as ESLint or SonarQube along with automation frameworks like Cypress for end-to-end testing workflows.
• Awareness of logging, monitoring, and observability practices essential for maintaining healthy front-end systems at scale.
• Experience working within both monolithic application structures as well as micro-frontend architectures for modular development approaches.
