What you'll do:

As Head of Enterprise Systems and Data in Jakarta’s thriving manufacturing sector, you will be at the forefront of transforming how technology supports business operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve consolidating disparate technology teams into a unified function that fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing. You will architect innovative solutions that underpin digital transformation initiatives—designing scalable platforms using event-driven methodologies to ensure real-time integration across all business units. By establishing a centralised data platform as the Single Source of Truth for the organisation, you will guarantee data consistency and governance while driving operational efficiency. Your role will also encompass developing integration standards using APIs and microservices; implementing DevOps practices for streamlined software delivery; collaborating with stakeholders to digitise core manufacturing processes; enabling Industry 4.0 technologies; managing technology portfolios; mentoring high-performing teams; monitoring emerging trends; recommending new solutions; enforcing best practices in cybersecurity; overseeing budgets; engaging vendors; leading strategic programmes; and nurturing an inclusive culture focused on continuous improvement.

• Lead the consolidation of software development, ERP, enterprise systems, and data teams across all business units into a centralised corporate function that promotes knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving.
• Define, develop, and govern the company's Enterprise Architecture roadmap to ensure alignment with long-term business growth objectives and digital transformation strategies.
• Design, implement, and manage Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) to enable scalable, reliable, and real-time system integration across diverse business units.
• Establish and maintain a centralised enterprise data platform that serves as the Single Source of Truth for the organisation, ensuring data consistency, integrity, availability, and robust governance.
• Drive the migration from traditional batch processing and middleware-heavy solutions toward loosely coupled, event-based architectures that enhance agility and responsiveness.
• Develop enterprise integration standards utilising event brokers, APIs, microservices, and modern messaging platforms to improve system scalability and maintainability.
• Lead software engineering governance by implementing modern DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, quality assurance protocols, security standards, and application lifecycle management.
• Build and manage shared enterprise platforms and reusable software components to eliminate duplicated development efforts while improving delivery efficiency across business units.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate manufacturing processes such as Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Production Planning, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, and Finance into scalable digital solutions.
• Leverage real-time enterprise data to enable Industry 4.0 capabilities including predictive analytics, AI/ML applications, agentic AI solutions, intelligent automation, and predictive production scheduling.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required while a Master’s degree is considered advantageous for this senior leadership position.
• Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in Enterprise Systems or Software Engineering with at least 5 years in senior management roles leading cross-functional technology teams.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale ERP implementation projects or digital transformation initiatives within multi-business organisations.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing enterprise integration architecture including hands-on experience with event brokers such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Deep understanding of Publish-Subscribe (Pub/Sub) architecture principles alongside Event Sourcing techniques and Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS).
• Strong grasp of Microservices Architecture concepts including API Management strategies using RESTful APIs for asynchronous messaging within distributed systems environments.
• Experience with middleware technologies as well as cloud-native architectures supporting enterprise application integration requirements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DevOps practices encompassing CI/CD pipeline design containerisation technologies like Docker/Kubernetes Infrastructure as Code approaches.
• Solid understanding of enterprise databases data warehouses lakes governance master data management frameworks essential for maintaining information integrity.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics Infor or similar systems relevant to manufacturing industry operations.
• Experience working in manufacturing environments especially textile garment FMCG automotive electronics sectors is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledgeable about Industry 4.0 technologies including Industrial IoT AI/ML predictive analytics intelligent automation smart manufacturing solutions desirable for this role.
