• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Android applications using Kotlin or Java alongside modern frameworks such as Jetpack Compose.

• Implement app monitoring strategies including logging and crash reporting using tools like Firebase Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring.
• Stay current with evolving Android best practices, tools, libraries, and platform capabilities to continuously improve the development process.
• Contribute to architectural decisions by applying scalable patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture within modularised codebases.
• Manage Google Play Store submissions including app signing, release management, versioning, and compliance with store guidelines.

• Hands-on experience utilising Android SDK components including Jetpack libraries as well as modern UI frameworks such as Jetpack Compose or XML-based layouts.
• Demonstrated ability working with Firebase services (Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring), Location Services APIs, Push Notifications (FCM), Room Database integration, animations, and graphics APIs.
• Deep understanding of software design patterns and dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger for scalable architecture implementation.
• Solid grasp of architectural paradigms like MVVM or Clean Architecture along with practical experience structuring modularised codebases using Gradle build systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Google Play Store processes including submission workflows, app signing protocols, release management strategies, and version control best practices.
• Proven track record writing robust unit tests as well as instrumentation/UI tests to ensure application stability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Preferred: Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments within collaborative engineering environments.
• Preferred: Familiarity running A/B testing experiments; hands-on exposure to Kotlin Coroutines or Flow (or RxJava); understanding of snapshot testing methodologies; comfort using UI automation tools; adept at performance monitoring.
