* Oversee end-to-end processes covering backend development, frontend interfaces, and custom application creation in alignment with Product Requirement Documents for various business units including BizOps & Commercial.
* Promote standardisation of frontend, backend, and database frameworks through close collaboration with the IT Engineering Architecture Framework team to enhance efficiency in application development.
* Design effective business process flows and data pathways to ensure accurate data availability supporting applications across the entire organisation.
* Take responsibility for the quality of software products and data warehouse solutions by ensuring engineering teams adhere to high standards in building robust data-driven applications.
* Strengthen the Freelancer Pool function by providing non-specific engineers for cross-departmental projects so that each department’s needs for frontend, backend, and database expertise are met with suitable competencies.
* Implement AI-first workflows within project execution while encouraging widespread adoption of artificial intelligence tools across all aspects of work within the company.
* Ensure strict adherence to Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and Halal Assurance Systems while upholding compliance with Quality Management and Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental (SHE) regulations according to established standards.
