Our client is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to join their team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in commercial B2B environments, preferably within the food industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks and delivery of sales and profitability, as well as business development of one of the biggest accounts in the AMEA region. What you'll do:

As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's commercial growth strategy. Your primary responsibility will be managing one of the largest accounts in the AMEA region, ensuring successful delivery of sales and profitability. You will develop and execute strategic plans, nurture existing customer relationships, manage resources effectively, and continuously assess market trends. Your ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels will be crucial for your success in this role.

  • Develop, own and execute strategic plans for achieving business targets
  • Nurture and maintain existing customer relationships
  • Manage resource planning including budget, forecast, manpower etc.
  • Continuously collect and assess market intelligence and key trends
  • Provide ongoing analysis of sales performance metrics against budgeted objectives
  • Build and develop strong relationships with global/regional/local internal stakeholders

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Key Account Manager position brings a wealth of experience from a commercial B2B environment, preferably within the food industry. With over 12 years of relevant experience, you have demonstrated your ability to strategically maintain relations with customers to maximize volumes, sales margins, and customer profitability. Your fluency in Business English coupled with IT skills in MS Office and Google suite make you an effective communicator capable of engaging a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Commercial subject or Food technologist or equivalent
  • 12 to 15+ years of relevant experience in a commercial B2B environment
  • Demonstrated track record in strategically maintaining relations with customers
  • Fluent in Business English; Native language in specific country is an added advantage
  • IT Skills in MS Office and Google suite
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
