What you'll do:

As a Sales Trader in Grains, you will play a pivotal role in merchandising commodities like Soybean Meal and Corn Gluten Meal. Your keen eye for identifying business growth opportunities coupled with your ability to assess market trends will be instrumental in meeting sales targets. You will be expected to analyse the commodity portfolio, uncovering potential trading opportunities, while applying appropriate trading strategies in response to various market conditions or economic trends. Leading negotiations for buying and selling activities, you will strive to maximise profitability at all times. Your role will also involve tracking international market performance, managing customer relationships, cultivating long-term business partnerships, and driving operational efficiency.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Trader position brings a wealth of experience in Agricultural Commodities Trading. With a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business, Agribusiness, or a related field, you have spent 3 - 5 years honing your skills in this sector. Your experience extends to international agricultural commodities trading, and you possess strong analytical skills that enable you to take initiative and think critically. You approach your work with a customer-oriented mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit. Your meticulous attention to detail, result-driven attitude, and hands-on approach set you apart from others. Additionally, your excellent communication and negotiation skills are complemented by your proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business, Agribusiness, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Agricultural Commodities Trading (e.g., Soybean, Corn, Soybean Meal, Corn Gluten Meal).
