Our client is seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager for their Electrification Service division. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a global team addressing significant challenges with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing service sales strategies and ensuring profitable achievement of targets related to Life Cycle Management (LCM) and service products and solutions. This role is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and offers a hybrid work model.

What you'll do:

As a Sales & Marketing Manager for Electrification Service, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's business. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of the company by implementing innovative service sales strategies that increase penetration of the Installed Base (IB). Your expertise in negotiating major contracts will be crucial in securing service sales volume. Furthermore, you will play an integral part in setting, reviewing, and achieving service sales targets by providing cost-effective solutions to customers. Your ability to obtain feedback on sales development and distribute resources effectively will be key in maintaining a competitive edge in the market.

  • Ensure successful implementation of the service sales strategy for the assigned area.
  • Achieve qualitative and quantitative targets related to Life Cycle Management (LCM) and service products and solutions.
  • Determine account and acquisition plans to support growth.
  • Create, plan, and implement service sales strategies by increasing the Installed Base (IB) penetration through effective utilization of IB database.
  • Participate in negotiations of major contracts to secure service sales volume.
  • Ensure the setting, periodic-review, and achievement of service sales targets by providing cost-effective solutions to customers and initiating improvement plans as needed.
  • Obtain feedback on sales development, distribute resources for service sales activities, and report current market status.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales & Marketing Manager position brings a wealth of experience in Sales, specifically within electrical switchgear Medium Voltage and Low Voltage. While an Electrical Engineering background is preferred, candidates with the right experience from other fields are also encouraged to apply. Experience in the Service segment of electrical switchgear will give you an advantage. As a previous people leader with knowledge of the Indonesian market relevant to this business role, you'll be well-equipped to drive success. Your excellent English communication skills will enable you to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven experience in Sales, particularly within electrical switchgear Medium Voltage and Low Voltage.
  • Background in Electrical Engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in Service segment of electrical switchgear is advantageous.
  • Previous leadership experience is required.
  • Must have knowledge of the Indonesian market relevant to this business role.
  • Excellent English communication skills are essential.
