Your primary responsibility will be to acquire new clients while nurturing existing relationships within the FMCG sector. You will utilise your expertise in pricing calculation and budgeting control to develop competitive price proposals for clients. Additionally, you will gain an intimate understanding of key market players, competitors, and products such as chocolate compounds used in bakeries. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic industry.

  • Focus on acquiring and nurturing relationships with industrial, food manufacturing, and FMCG clients
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of key players and competitors within the market
  • Manage pricing calculations from base price, margin, to selling price to formulate price proposals for clients
  • Oversee budgeting control and pricing mechanisms
  • Present pricing proposals to customers
  • Gain in-depth knowledge about products such as chocolate compound used for filling in bakeries and industrial bakeries

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Food Manufacturing Sales Manager position brings 5-7 years of commercial B2B sales experience within the food ingredients or flavouring sectors. An educational degree in food engineering would be beneficial but not mandatory. Proficiency in English is crucial for this role; Mandarin language skills would be an added advantage considering many accounts are Chinese companies. You should have a strong understanding of pricing calculations from base price, margin, to selling price along with experience managing budgeting control and pricing mechanisms.

  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial B2B sales within the food ingredients or flavouring sectors
  • Educational degree in food engineering is desirable but not mandatory
