GM Sales (Textile - Based in Bandung)
This role will be responsible for expanding relationships with international fashion brands, buying offices, and sourcing partners while driving sustainable revenue growth. The ideal candidate will already possess an established network within the European textile and apparel industry, particularly in polyester fabric solutions, and understand the sourcing requirements of leading global fashion retailers.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy across key European markets, particularly Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and Turkey.

Manage and expand relationships with global apparel brands, buying offices, sourcing managers, and textile distributors.

Identify and secure new business opportunities with international fashion retailers and garment manufacturers.

Grow strategic accounts while ensuring long-term profitability and sustainable business partnerships.

Collaborate closely with product development and R&D teams to develop fabric collections aligned with seasonal fashion trends and customer requirements.

Drive business growth in polyester-based textile solutions while identifying opportunities to expand into adjacent product categories.

Monitor market trends, customer demand, competitor activities, and emerging fashion developments to support strategic business decisions.

Coordinate with production, merchandising, supply chain, and planning teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered on time and according to quality expectations.

Support negotiations on commercial agreements, pricing strategies, payment terms, and contract renewals with international customers.

Ensure compliance with customer sustainability requirements, traceability standards, and global social compliance expectations.
What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of commercial experience within the textile or apparel industry.

Proven experience managing European markets, particularly Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and Turkey.

Existing relationships with international fashion brands, sourcing offices, garment manufacturers, or buying houses.

Strong understanding of polyester fabrics, textile manufacturing, and international sourcing practices.

Experience working with global fashion retailers such as Zara (Inditex), H&M, Mango, C&A, Primark, Bestseller, LC Waikiki, DeFacto, or similar international brands is highly preferred.

Demonstrated success in business development, strategic account management, and international sales negotiations.

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing pricing, profitability, and long-term customer relationships.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent English communication is essential.
