We’re seeking a proven business developer with deep knowledge of the local automotive industry to create new business models, drive joint ventures, and forge powerful partnerships between local and global players. You’ll lead initiatives in areas such as logistics value chain optimisation and future electrification, while building relationships with OEMs and potential partners.

What you'll do:
As a Business Development Manager Supply Chain Automotive, you will play an instrumental role in redefining how the organisation approaches growth within Indonesia’s dynamic automotive sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities will centre on forging strong partnerships—both locally and globally—to unlock new revenue streams while supporting the company’s broader partner strategy. You will be entrusted with leading negotiations for joint ventures or technical alliances, especially in high-potential areas such as electric vehicles. Your ability to analyse market shifts, propose actionable strategies for long-term success, and foster collaboration across functions will be essential in achieving ambitious targets.   • Develop and execute comprehensive partner strategies by identifying, engaging, and collaborating with both local and global partners to create new business opportunities within the Indonesian automotive supply chain.
  • Drive the creation of new logistics value chains by fostering synergy between existing operations and emerging market trends such as electrification and sustainable logistics.
  • Act as a key liaison for matchmaking activities between headquarters’ global partners and promising local organisations, ensuring alignment with regional objectives.
  • Mentor and develop future middle management talent by providing guidance, support, and knowledge transfer to ensure long-term organisational success.
  • Lead negotiations with potential joint venture or technical alliance partners, leveraging your practical finance knowledge to structure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Continuously analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for innovation, improvement, and expansion within the supply chain division.
  • Set up hypotheses for mid- to long-term strategic initiatives, particularly in fields like electric vehicles (EV) and carbon-neutral logistics, then execute these plans using PDCA cycles.
  • Champion a culture of trial and error by encouraging experimentation, learning from outcomes, and adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, forums, and meetings to build networks that support business development goals.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new projects and integration of best practices across departments.
