What you'll do:

As an Account Manager – Freight Forwarding and Logistics, you will be at the heart of business development activities in Surabaya. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve engaging directly with clients both existing and prospective to understand their unique requirements while delivering exceptional service solutions.

  • Drive new business acquisition by identifying potential clients across freight forwarding and logistics services, ensuring consistent pipeline growth through proactive outreach.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM systems such as Salesforce, tracking progress and following up on leads to maximise conversion rates.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers by understanding their evolving needs and providing tailored solutions that foster long-term loyalty.
  • Secure new accounts by presenting compelling value propositions during regular customer visits and business development meetings, always prioritising client satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed weekly sales plans that outline strategic priorities, monitor performance metrics, and adjust activities based on market trends or feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Support for quotations and operational teams to guarantee seamless service delivery from initial contact through post-sale follow-up.
  • Ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets by aligning team efforts with organisational objectives and monitoring key performance indicators regularly.
  • Contribute immediately as a hands-on commercial partner who supports both people development and business performance without being limited to administrative tasks.
