What you'll do:
As Group Head of Supply Chain Management based in Jakarta, you will play a central role in orchestrating both strategic direction and operational execution for the entire organisation’s supply chain activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you collaborating with senior executives to set ambitious transformation roadmaps while ensuring that every aspect of procurement—from policy design to contract negotiation—is governed by best practice standards. You will provide oversight for shared services teams responsible for logistics and inventory management while championing digital innovation through advanced analytics platforms. - Lead all capital project procurement activities including high-value engineering contracts, drilling equipment acquisition, long-lead items, and major service agreements to ensure timely project delivery.
- Drive supplier prequalification processes, oversee bidding governance, and manage contract lifecycles to maintain integrity and compliance throughout all procurement activities.
- Serve as the principal advisor to executive leadership on supply chain risk exposure, cost optimisation opportunities, and readiness for large-scale capital projects.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with regulatory standards by strengthening governance frameworks covering policies, procedures, approval authorities, and control expectations.
- Oversee operational supply chain activities executed by shared services teams—including materials management, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, inventory control, and facility management—ensuring alignment with group policies.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives by embedding automation tools, AI-driven analytics platforms, ERP integrations, and process standardisation efforts across the entire supply chain function.
- Develop capability frameworks for talent management within the supply chain organisation; define job families, succession plans, role clarity measures, and foster a culture anchored in collaboration and accountability.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field; Master’s qualification is highly desirable for this senior leadership position.
- A minimum of 15 years’ progressive experience in supply chain or procurement leadership roles within large-scale organisations managing diverse portfolios.
- Demonstrated success leading sizeable teams (50+ staff) across multiple categories including capital project procurement and supplier performance management.
- Proven track record in designing operating models for transformation initiatives involving digitalisation of supply chain functions such as automation or predictive analytics.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), or MCIPS (Member Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) are preferred credentials.
- Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential for effective communication across local and international stakeholders.
- Comprehensive knowledge of category management principles combined with hands-on experience overseeing end-to-end procurement cycles from vendor selection through contract closure.
- Expertise in establishing governance structures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (including OJK/IDX standards), internal audits protocols, ethical sourcing policies and risk mitigation strategies.
- Advanced skills in integrating ERP/SAP systems with e-Procurement tools as well as deploying dashboards for spend analysis or vendor performance monitoring.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities enabling you to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including finance leaders, engineers, legal advisors and audit committees.
