What you'll do:

As Head of Supply Chain, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the future of the organisation’s supply chain strategy. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve orchestrating complex operations across multiple sites while ensuring seamless integration between planning, procurement, manufacturing coordination, warehousing, and distribution. You will work hand-in-hand with various departments to align forecasts with production capabilities and inventory targets. By leveraging your expertise in S&OP processes and demand forecasting models, you will drive improvements in service levels and inventory turnover. Your ability to negotiate with suppliers and implement cost-saving initiatives will be crucial in maintaining competitive advantage. Additionally, you will champion continuous improvement efforts throughout the supply chain while nurturing talent within your team. Success in this role requires not only technical proficiency but also a passion for collaboration and developing others within a supportive environment.

  • Ensure close synchronisation between sales forecasts, production schedules, and inventory strategies to maximise product availability while minimising excess stock.
  • Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to improve forecast accuracy and elevate service levels across the business.

  • Develop robust sourcing strategies that guarantee cost efficiency and continuity of supply while strengthening relationships with key suppliers through effective contract negotiations.

  • Monitor transport optimisation efforts alongside warehouse efficiency improvements to achieve superior On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction across the supply chain by initiating continuous improvement programmes such as Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a large multi-functional team by building strong succession pipelines and fostering a collaborative culture focused on shared success.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Head of Supply Chain position brings extensive experience from senior roles within large-scale FMCG or food manufacturing settings. Your background demonstrates not only technical mastery over integrated supply chain functions but also an empathetic approach towards team development and stakeholder engagement. You have successfully navigated complex operational challenges across multiple sites while consistently delivering results against key metrics such as OTIF service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory turnover rates, and cost optimisation targets. Your interpersonal skills allow you to build trust-based relationships both internally among colleagues and externally with suppliers. A deep familiarity with Indonesian logistics landscapes ensures you can adapt strategies effectively within local contexts. Furthermore, your commitment to continuous improvement—whether through Lean methodologies or digital transformation—sets you apart as someone who thrives on making meaningful contributions within collaborative environments.

  • A minimum of 12–18 years’ experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations within FMCG or food manufacturing environments is essential for this role.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing complex multi-site operations with high-volume manufacturing exposure is required.
  • Proven track record in implementing S&OP processes as well as demand planning and inventory management systems is highly valued.
  • Comprehensive understanding of logistics networks and distribution channels within Indonesia is necessary for effective performance.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills combined with the ability to foster positive relationships across diverse teams are vital attributes.
  • Advanced analytical abilities paired with strong problem-solving skills enable you to identify opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Experience utilising ERP systems such as SAP is preferred for streamlining operational workflows.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related discipline is mandatory; an MBA qualification would be advantageous.
