What you'll do:

As the Southeast Asia Logistics and Warehouse Procurement Manager you will be responsible for driving strategic procurement initiatives across multiple countries in Southeast Asia while also providing leadership for regional projects in Asia Pacific. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute sourcing strategies that deliver measurable savings and improved service levels. You will oversee all aspects of transportation and warehousing operations—including 3PL management—while continuously seeking opportunities for cost optimisation and enhanced resilience. By leveraging analytics-driven insights you will monitor market trends affecting freight movements and warehouse costs. Your success in this role will depend on your ability to foster strong partnerships with suppliers as well as internal stakeholders; conduct thorough business reviews; implement best practices; optimise inventory flow; improve working capital; and ensure robust governance over reporting dashboards. The scope of your responsibilities extends beyond local execution into regional influence where you will help shape harmonised strategies that benefit the entire Asia Pacific network.

  • Lead sourcing activities and manage suppliers for logistics and warehouse categories throughout Southeast Asia, ensuring optimal cost efficiency and service quality.
  • Oversee transportation, warehousing, distribution, third-party logistics (3PL), domestic logistics operations, as well as related value-added services to meet annual savings and productivity targets.
  • Execute RFx processes, e-auctions, benchmarking exercises, commercial negotiations, and contract management initiatives to build competitive supply markets.
  • Identify new supplier options to enhance cost effectiveness, service reliability, and operational resilience across the region.
  • Act as the Asia Pacific Logistics & Warehouse Category Lead by supporting a portfolio of approximately US$76M in spend across SEA, ANZ, Japan, Korea.
  • Drive regional category strategies by identifying leverage opportunities for supplier consolidation and best-practice sharing among various markets.
  • Build and maintain a strong logistics savings pipeline through collaborative supplier engagement, strategic sourcing initiatives, process optimisation efforts, and KPI-driven results.
  • Partner with global logistics stakeholders to align Asia Pacific priorities with enterprise-wide procurement strategies.
  • Influence country-level stakeholders to ensure alignment on sourcing strategies and implementation plans while leading supplier relationship management with key logistics providers.
  • Conduct regular supplier business reviews focused on cost reduction, service improvement, quality assurance, innovation adoption, safety compliance, and regulatory adherence.
