What you'll do:

As a Senior Procurement Specialist based in Shanghai, you will take ownership of end-to-end sourcing activities within the food and packaging sectors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve building trusted supplier networks across Greater China, negotiating contracts that deliver both quality and value, and collaborating closely with colleagues in Indonesia and Singapore. • Demonstrated ability to assess supplier credibility using structured methodologies across multiple regions such as China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
• Proven track record of managing complex negotiations that result in favourable contract terms while maintaining positive supplier relationships.
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving combined with meticulous attention to detail when qualifying raw materials or evaluating new vendors.
• Experience working collaboratively with international teams—particularly those based in Indonesia or Singapore—to achieve shared objectives.
• Familiarity with payment management processes including hedging strategies to minimise financial risk exposure during transactions.
• Comfortable preparing comprehensive reports on procurement performance metrics for presentation to senior stakeholders.
