What you'll do:
As Head of Sales and Operations based in Central Jakarta, you will play an instrumental role in steering the strategic direction of sales operations throughout Indonesia. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve orchestrating demand forecasting activities with precision while fostering collaboration among diverse teams. You will champion integrated business planning initiatives that ensure optimal product availability and cost-effective inventory management. By developing robust processes for customer service excellence and order fulfilment, you will help set new standards for operational performance. Your ability to resolve challenges through effective stakeholder engagement—both internally with leadership peers and externally with logistics partners—will be crucial. In this role, you will also nurture talent within your team by providing guidance and support that encourages both personal development and collective achievement. Regular visits to the warehouse in Cakung will keep you connected to ground-level operations while your presence at the head office ensures alignment with broader organisational goals.
- Oversee the full spectrum of sales operations across Indonesia, ensuring seamless integration between demand planning, order management, customer service, and supply chain functions.
- Lead monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to achieve consensus on demand plans, incorporating new product launches, marketing activities, and supply constraints.
- Drive the development and implementation of integrated business planning (IBP) strategies that optimise forecasting accuracy and supply planning efficiency.
- Establish clear metrics to measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy while tracking benefits and improvements for the business.
- Develop world-class processes for demand planning, customer service, and order management that support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and demand allocation effectiveness in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Resolve complex supply-demand or service-cost issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners such as 3PL providers and warehousing.
- Motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 9-10 professionals to achieve operational excellence and foster professional growth.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory management principles to optimise net working capital.
- Work closely with sales leadership to identify significant business risks, escalate issues appropriately, and influence key stakeholders towards mutually beneficial solutions.

- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end sales operations within home appliances or related sectors such as FMCG, automotive or premium electronics industries.
- Proven track record in demand planning, S&OP processes, digitisation initiatives, forecasting methodologies, and basic financial acumen.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for informed decision-making across multiple product SKUs (ranging from 2 to 300).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with internal teams (sales leadership) as well as external stakeholders (3PLs, warehousing partners).
- Experience leading high-performing teams; ability to motivate others towards shared goals while fostering an inclusive environment.
- Sound understanding of integrated business planning concepts coupled with practical knowledge of supply chain optimisation techniques.
- Commercially astute mindset with an appreciation for balancing strategic thinking against operational execution requirements.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with fluency in Bahasa Indonesia preferred; English proficiency is advantageous given regional interactions.
- Adaptability when navigating matrix organisations; comfortable influencing decisions across different levels/functions/geographies.
