What you'll do:

As Maintenance Manager Fast Moving Consumer Goods Liquid Products based in Karawang, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of one of Indonesia’s most important manufacturing facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class maintenance solutions that maximise equipment uptime. You will champion preventive maintenance practices using advanced digital tools like SAP PM while nurturing a culture of safety and compliance. By managing budgets efficiently and supporting strategic improvement projects, you will help drive both short-term results and long-term sustainability. • Oversee all plant maintenance activities across multiple production lines to ensure maximum equipment reliability, availability, and operational efficiency throughout the facility.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and planned maintenance programmes using SAP Plant Maintenance to enhance asset performance while reducing unplanned downtime.
• Supervise Mechanical and Electrical maintenance teams as well as technical stores, utilities management, and related engineering functions to maintain seamless plant operations.
• Drive reliability initiatives by applying preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies aimed at improving key performance indicators such as mean time between failures (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR), breakdown reduction rates, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Lead Engineering and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) teams to guarantee full compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental regulations, and foster a proactive safety culture across all levels of the plant.
• Ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards along with Halal requirements and other relevant manufacturing quality systems to uphold product integrity.
• Manage maintenance budgets effectively by monitoring contractor performance, controlling spare parts inventory levels, and overseeing engineering projects that optimise operational costs.
• Support plant-wide improvement projects including equipment upgrades, capital expenditure (CAPEX) initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes designed to boost productivity.
• Monitor maintenance performance through regular KPI reviews; identify areas for enhancement and implement corrective actions that drive operational effectiveness.
• Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing maintenance team while building technical capability across the organisation through structured training programmes.

• Comprehensive understanding of plant maintenance systems including asset management principles, equipment reliability methodologies, and preventive maintenance planning is necessary.
• Hands-on experience utilising SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) or similar enterprise asset management software is highly preferred for effective programme execution.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts as applied within complex manufacturing operations is vital for success in this role.
• Demonstrated ability to implement ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) systems within an industrial setting is required.
• Proven track record managing cross-functional engineering teams with strong interpersonal skills that promote collaboration across departments is expected.
• Excellent analytical thinking combined with problem-solving abilities enables you to address technical challenges swiftly while maintaining stakeholder trust.
