This pivotal role offers you the opportunity to shape brand strategy from insight through to execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable growth and commercial success. You will be at the heart of driving brand equity in a highly competitive market, with the chance to mentor junior talent and influence broader portfolio priorities. The company is renowned for its strong presence across Southeast Asia, offering a supportive environment where your expertise in brand management will be valued and nurtured. Flexible working opportunities, generous training programmes, and exposure to regional projects make this an ideal position for those looking to advance their marketing career within the fast-moving consumer goods sector.

  • Take full ownership of a well-known snack brand, leading strategic planning, campaign development, and execution across multiple channels.
  • Work collaboratively with R&D, Finance, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams to deliver cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects that drive business results.
  • Benefit from flexible working arrangements, ongoing professional development opportunities, and the chance to work on high-impact regional activations within a supportive team environment.

What you'll do:

As Brand Manager, you will play a central role in shaping the future of a flagship snack brand within a prominent FMCG portfolio. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing comprehensive marketing strategies based on consumer insights and market intelligence, executing impactful campaigns across multiple channels, and collaborating with diverse teams including R&D, Finance, Purchasing, and Supply Chain. You will also mentor junior talent within the marketing function while supporting broader portfolio priorities. Success in this role requires you to manage complex projects efficiently, maintain close oversight of financial performance through P&L management, build strong relationships with advertising agencies for effective communications delivery, and confidently present your ideas both internally and externally. Domestic travel may be required to support field visits or regional activations. Your ability to connect data-driven insights with creative solutions will be key in driving sustainable growth for the brand.

  • Lead end-to-end brand management for a major snack brand, overseeing strategic planning, campaign development, and seamless in-market execution.
  • Mentor and develop the Assistant Brand Manager while providing robust support to the Marketing Manager on wider portfolio priorities.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with departments such as R&D, Finance, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Monitor and manage the brand’s P&L closely by identifying risks and opportunities early and proactively proposing recommendations for growth.
  • Translate consumer insights and market intelligence into actionable marketing strategies that strengthen brand positioning and drive volume.
  • Manage relationships with advertising agencies to ensure all communications are on-brief, on-brand, and delivered effectively across various channels.
  • Utilise syndicated market data such as AC Nielsen reports to draw actionable business conclusions that inform strategic decisions.
  • Present confidently to internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring clear communication of brand objectives and progress.
  • Support domestic travel requirements for field visits, agency engagements, and cross-regional activations as needed.
  • Champion collaborative teamwork across functions to foster a culture of shared success and mutual support.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Brand Manager position brings substantial experience in FMCG brand management—particularly within snacks or similar categories—and has successfully managed brands through every stage of the marketing cycle. Your analytical skills enable you to interpret complex market data such as AC Nielsen reports into actionable strategies that drive business results. You possess excellent communication abilities in English (both written and spoken), allowing you to present confidently in various settings. Your collaborative nature ensures you thrive when working alongside cross-functional teams like R&D or Finance. Experience mentoring junior colleagues demonstrates your commitment to nurturing talent within the organisation. You are adept at translating consumer insights into innovative marketing plans that reinforce brand equity while maintaining strong relationships with advertising agencies. A willingness to travel domestically supports your engagement in field visits or regional activations. Above all, your proactive mindset helps identify risks early while fostering a culture of shared success.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG brand management with proven track record managing brands through the full marketing cycle.
  • Deep understanding of AC Nielsen data coupled with the ability to interpret syndicated market data for actionable business outcomes.
  • Structured thinker who can simplify complexity by connecting data points to clear strategic recommendations.
  • Fluent English skills both written and spoken; comfortable presenting confidently to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members or supporting broader portfolio priorities within a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to translate consumer insights into compelling marketing strategies that enhance brand positioning.
  • Comfortable managing relationships with advertising agencies ensuring communications are consistently on-brand across channels.
  • Willingness to support domestic travel requirements for field visits or cross-regional activations as needed.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork by fostering positive inter-personal connections across departments.
  • Proactive approach towards identifying risks or opportunities within P&L management.
