What you'll do:

As Head of Product based in Jakarta, you will be entrusted with steering the strategic direction of product management across diverse industry segments. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with internal teams to define actionable sales strategies that align with broader business objectives. You will oversee the implementation of these strategies by setting clear targets for your team while providing them with the necessary resources for success. By leveraging your deep understanding of market dynamics, you will identify emerging opportunities for growth—ensuring that both current clients’ needs are met and new markets are explored. Building robust relationships with senior stakeholders will be central to your role as you communicate value propositions persuasively. Additionally, you will champion continuous improvement by monitoring KPIs and leading initiatives that enhance team capabilities through coaching and cross-team collaboration. Your ability to connect technical expertise with commercial acumen will be vital in supporting consultants during project development stages while resolving complex challenges efficiently.

  • Define and implement segment sales strategies and budgets while ensuring regular follow-up with oversight country to drive early-stage pipeline growth and top-line performance in each target segment.
  • Establish key targets for the promotions team, ensuring they provide high-level technical support, training, and timely explanations to consultants with consistent quality.
  • Continuously assess market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, industry developments, applications, and country-specific analyses to identify new opportunities with existing and potential customers within target segments.
  • Provide comprehensive feedback to divisional leadership on market trends, competitive landscape, pricing expectations, channel strategy, and local conditions to secure business wins.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at senior levels with key stakeholders and decision makers by communicating the company’s value proposition effectively.
  • Ensure the promotions team is equipped to establish long-term relationships with consultant groups through various promotional activities that guarantee a positive experience.
  • Support customers—especially consultants as well as engineering or architectural offices—in project development phases and technical problem-solving scenarios.
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for promotional and segment sales activities; establish regular reporting mechanisms to analyse performance against standards and prepare improvement plans.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners to ensure the area of responsibility is properly organised, staffed, skilled, motivated, and directed according to HR policies.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates while fostering know-how sharing and cross-collaboration across teams.

  • Hold a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BSc or MSc), bringing over eight years of experience within dynamic industries where adaptability is essential.
  • Demonstrate 8-10 years’ experience in segment sales, end-user sales or solutions sales across multiple sectors such as Data Centre, Power & Energy, Building Automation, General Industries, Construction & Infrastructure as well as Transportation & Mobility solutions.
  • Showcase expertise in both sales management and product management tailored to several industry verticals.
  • Possess a proven track record of successfully leading business growth initiatives within a country context.
  • Exhibit hands-on experience in developing and implementing effective marketing and sales strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Display an empathetic approach when guiding teams internally as well as externally—fostering collaboration at every level.
  • Bring excellent communication skills paired with strong negotiation abilities that enable you to build trust-based relationships with stakeholders.
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English to facilitate seamless interaction across multicultural environments.
