An exciting Consumer Insight Director job opportunity has become available to lead a heritage brand of a highly reputable FMCG company About the Consumer Insight Director Role: Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Consumer Insight Director plays a key role in the Marketing team's continued development and success.
What you'll do:
As the Consumer Insights Director (FMCG), you will play a pivotal role in understanding consumer behaviour and market trends in the food and beverage category space. Your excellent analytical skills will be put to use as you work closely with research agencies, gathering and interpreting data that will influence our product strategy. You'll present your findings directly to the GM and Marketing Director, ensuring your insights have a direct impact on our business direction. This role offers a unique blend of strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on research.
- Lead the consumer insights team and set strategic direction
- Work closely with research agencies to gather and analyse market data
- Present findings to the GM and Marketing Director, influencing product strategy
- Drive research in the personal care space, identifying emerging trends and opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure insights are integrated into all aspects of the business
- Monitor and evaluate competitor activities and consumer behaviour
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Consumer Insights Director (FMCG) role will bring a wealth of experience from either an FMCG or Research Agency background. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to interpret complex data sets, while your excellent communication skills will ensure your findings are clearly understood by senior stakeholders.
