What you'll do:

As a Partner in Mergers and Acquisitions and General Corporate, your primary responsibility will be to oversee your specialised practice group. You will play a crucial role in growing your team while managing existing clients and attracting new ones. Your excellent leadership skills will be put to use as you report directly to the Managing Partner of the law firm. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating a budget, business plan, and marketing plan for your practice group.

• Assist, advise, and represent clients
• Manage current clients while attracting new ones to the law firm
• Create budget, business plan, and marketing plan for the practice group that you are developing

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Partner - Mergers and Acquisitions and General Corporate role brings extensive experience as a lawyer from either globally reputed or Indonesian law firms. A background in in-house legal roles with an interest in transitioning into partnership within a law firm would be highly regarded. Previous experience as a Partner within a Law Firm would be advantageous. The successful candidate must hold a bar license either in Indonesia or any common law jurisdiction. They should possess excellent analytical skills, being comfortable navigating through changing regulatory landscapes. Furthermore, they should demonstrate excellent leadership skills coupled with commercial acumen.

• Minimum of twelve years' experience as a lawyer in a globally reputed law firm or sixteen years in an Indonesian law firm not affiliated with an international law firm
• In-house legal experiences with huge interest to switching career and become a partner in a law firm is considered
• Experience as a Partner in a Law Firm is preferable
• Bar license either in Indonesia or any common law jurisdiction
• Excellent analytical skills – comfortable with changing regulatory landscape
• Excellent leadership skills, driven attitude with commercial acumen
