What you'll do:
As the Country Human Resources Manager in Tangerang you will play a central role in driving the organisation’s HR agenda at a national scale. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing all aspects of human resources operations—from policy implementation to workforce governance—across multiple manufacturing sites. You will be instrumental in managing crisis situations such as labour disputes or operational disruptions by coordinating contingency plans and stabilising the workforce. Acting as a strategic partner to both internal teams (facility operations & corporate affairs) and external stakeholders (government agencies & trade unions), you will facilitate harmonious industrial relations while ensuring strict compliance with local labour laws. Your leadership will extend to supervising Factory HR Managers for consistent policy application; executing digitalisation initiatives; rolling out retention strategies; leading change management projects; conducting audits; managing grievances; coordinating training; and supporting business transformation efforts. - Oversee all country-level Human Resources operations to ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, operational standards, labour practices, employee services, workforce governance, and HR execution across multiple sites.
- Lead crisis management activities including labour contingency handling, workforce stabilisation during disputes or emergencies, employee-related escalation coordination, and business continuity support.
- Partner with internal teams such as facility operations, corporate affairs, and country leadership to proactively enhance organisational effectiveness and mitigate workforce risks through collaborative engagement.
- Manage high-risk industrial relations escalation activities including labour union coordination, disciplinary escalation processes, grievance management procedures, and workforce stabilisation initiatives to maintain industrial harmony.
- Execute country-level HR strategies aligned with corporate direction by implementing governance frameworks, digitalisation initiatives (HRIS), policy rollouts, and compliance programmes.
- Supervise Factory HR Managers to ensure standardised HR operational practices across all sites while providing guidance on employee services and workforce governance.
- Lead activities related to business transformation including workforce harmonisation, employee engagement programmes, retention strategy implementation, change management projects, and HR due diligence for sustainable growth.
- Oversee HR compliance governance activities such as monitoring labour law adherence, coordinating inspections and audits (including customer audits), managing workforce investigations, corrective action follow-ups, employment regulation adherence, and escalation management.
- Govern HR operations to ensure operational standardisation across the country while maintaining accountability for workforce governance effectiveness.
- Engage with external stakeholders including government authorities, regulatory agencies, customers, national trade unions (TU), associations, and other relevant organisations to ensure effective communication and compliance.
