What you'll do:

As the Human Resources Manufacturing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organisation’s workforce. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve planning and executing HR strategies that drive operational efficiency while promoting employee engagement. You will collaborate closely with various teams to identify skill gaps, design impactful training programmes, and deliver onboarding experiences that set new hires up for success. By leading performance appraisals aligned with global standards and optimising HRIS platforms for learning initiatives, you will help foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your expertise in industrial relations will be crucial as you maintain open communication channels with unions and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Additionally, you will manage all aspects of HR administration—from maintaining accurate records to overseeing expatriate formalities—and spearhead recruitment efforts that enhance employer branding. Success in this role requires a genuine passion for supporting others through collaborative leadership and an unwavering commitment to safety.

  • Plan, implement, and oversee Human Resources policies that support company operations across recruitment, training, compensation, employee relations, and organisational development.
  • Support the HR country team on competency matrices development and conduct regular assessments to ensure skill compliance for blue-collar workers and supervisors.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor annual training programmes tailored to business needs, including structured onboarding curriculums that accelerate integration and productivity of new hires.
  • Lead performance appraisal processes by aligning local approaches with global standards and linking appraisal results with employee development initiatives.
  • Optimise HRIS adoption for learning and development purposes to strengthen company culture and engagement through platforms such as LEA, TAO, and NEST.
  • Maintain constructive communication with the Union while ensuring compliance with collective labour agreements (CLA) and handling grievances or conflicts positively in line with company policy.
  • Deliver updates on HR policies, organisational changes, and appraisal processes to heads of departments while ensuring regulatory compliance regarding employee movement reports.
  • Manage accurate employee records for audit, compliance, reporting purposes; regularly update information on salaries, promotions, resignations/terminations, BPJS, insurance; oversee expatriate documentation including work permits and visa renewals.
  • Conduct end-to-end hiring processes for all levels of staff while supporting employer branding initiatives such as campus activities, career fairs, social media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to ensure effective recruitment campaigns that attract top talent and provide an excellent candidate experience.

Your proven track record as an HR manager within fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing environments will be instrumental in this role. You bring deep expertise in technical HR knowledge—spanning recruitment management, learning & development programme design, industrial relations negotiation—and have successfully navigated complex employment law scenarios involving unions or collective agreements. Your familiarity with advanced HRIS platforms enables you to leverage technology for enhanced employee engagement while your proficiency in data analytics ensures informed decision-making.   • A degree from any background is welcome; preference given to those from Psychology, Management/Economics, Industrial Engineering or Law disciplines.
  • At least three years’ proven experience as an HR manager within FMCG environments with exposure as Learning & Development Manager or Industrial Relations Manager.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Indonesia Employment Law coupled with hands-on experience managing union relationships and collective labour agreement processes.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as LEA, TAO or NEST alongside proficiency in Power BI Talent Analytics for data-driven decision making.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analytics as well as strong abilities in PowerPoint presentation creation.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking paired with curiosity that drives continuous improvement across HR functions.
  • Effective communication skills enabling you to build trustful relationships across all levels of the organisation.
