Our client is seeking a Compensation Benefit & Payroll Lead to join their team in Jakarta. This role will play a crucial part in overseeing and optimising the operational aspect of Human Resources, ensuring efficient and smooth HR processes such as compensation and benefits, employees lifecycle management, continuous improvement in HR services, while focusing on enhancing productivity and maintaining a safe, well-regulated working environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align HR Operations with the overall organisational strategy.

What you'll do:

As a Compensation Benefit & Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for managing the monthly payroll process, ensuring its accuracy and timeliness. You will also be tasked with understanding and ensuring compliance with various regulatory requirements such as Tax Laws and Social Security. Your role will involve reviewing payroll data, identifying opportunities for streamlining processes, assisting in the development of compensation strategies, managing employee benefits programs, serving as the point of contact for employees regarding payroll issues, establishing regular communication channels with employees about the company's compensation philosophy, providing support during audits and internal reviews related to payroll.

  • Manage and monitor the monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely payment to all employees
  • Understand and ensure compliance with Tax Laws, Social Security and other regulatory requirements
  • Review payroll data, including salary adjustments, bonuses and deductions
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll, benefits and compensation processes
  • Assist in developing and implementing compensation strategies to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness
  • Support the annual salary review process and compensation benchmarking
  • Manage employee benefits program including health insurance, retirement plans and other benefits
  • Serve as point of contact for employees regarding payroll, benefits and compensation issues.
  • Establish regular communication with employees about the company's compensation philosophy and program
  • Provide support during audits and internal reviews related to payroll, benefits and compensation

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Compensation Benefit & Payroll Manager position brings a wealth of experience in HR operations or as an HR Generalist. You have at least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in this field. Your skills include proficiency in payroll systems & regulations, data analysis using Microsoft Excel, knowledge of rewards strategy, experience in compensation & benefits management, HR systems management, policy development. A bachelor's degree in any field is required for this role.
