• Support deal execution by performing thorough financial analysis, due diligence processes, documentation preparation, financing arrangements, and drafting both preliminary and final investment papers.
• Collaborate regularly with Technical Services and Operations teams to review model assumptions, ensuring alignment with current cost structures and operational realities.
• Engage in general industry research to proactively identify new investment opportunities within the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Contribute to asset management activities for portfolio companies by exploring strategies that create value at both the individual asset and overall portfolio levels.
• Maintain clear communication channels across departments to facilitate smooth transaction processes and ensure all relevant information is accurately reflected in decision-making documents.
• Assist in preparing high-quality written reports and presentations for senior management, supporting informed investment decisions.
• Participate actively in cross-functional project teams, fostering an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are encouraged and respected.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline is required; a degree from an overseas university is considered advantageous for this position.
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience gained within reputable organisations such as investment banks, accounting or advisory firms, renewable energy developers, infrastructure funds, or similar environments is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in financial modelling techniques and advanced quantitative analysis is necessary for success in this role.
• Experience supporting M&A transactions or similar complex deals is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English is required, including strong reporting skills for preparing clear documentation.
• Outstanding written communication skills are needed for producing high-quality reports and presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
