As Regional Head of Life Insurance in Jakarta, you will shape the strategic direction of the WL/HNW/Marketing Division. Your role includes overseeing operations, ensuring performance standards, coordinating with local teams and head office, and maintaining compliance. You'll identify training needs, implement development programs to grow talent, and strengthen team performance. By preparing detailed reports, you'll keep senior management informed on manpower trends and operational effectiveness.   • Monitor and oversee all operational activities within the WL/HNW/Marketing Division, ensuring that performance progress aligns with established goals and disciplinary standards are consistently maintained.
  • Drive sales-focused initiatives by leveraging your background in sales to ensure robust revenue generation and market penetration.
  • Manage the WL team by handling recruitment processes, supervising daily operations, fostering staff development, and promoting long-term workforce sustainability across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate closely with the Line Director at Head Office to provide robust support for General Affairs business functions while ensuring strict alignment with overarching corporate policies.
  • Work collaboratively with the Training & Development department to identify specific training needs within your division and implement effective development programmes that enhance team capabilities.
  • Ensure full compliance with all company policies, internal procedures, and applicable external regulations by regularly reviewing practices and updating protocols as necessary.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on manpower allocation, performance metrics, and operational matters for submission to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that encourages open communication, teamwork, and mutual respect among all members of your division.
  • Act as a key liaison between regional offices and headquarters to facilitate smooth information flow and consistent application of best practices throughout the organisation.
  • Support customer-oriented initiatives by promoting high standards of service delivery and addressing client needs promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (S1) from any major is required; additional certifications or background in Leadership, Sales, or Marketing are considered advantageous for this position.
  • A strong sales background is essential, with demonstrated experience in driving revenue growth through innovative strategies.
  • Relevant experience within banking, insurance, or other financial industries is essential for understanding complex business processes unique to this sector.
  • Experience in financing or agency collaboration is highly regarded; candidates should showcase versatility in navigating various agency structures while upholding a high standard of professionalism.
  • Demonstrated track record in leadership roles involving sales or marketing responsibilities is necessary for effectively managing diverse teams.
  • Strong business development skills are critical—this role requires someone who can proactively identify opportunities for growth rather than relying solely on organic expansion.
