IT Auditor (Life Insurance)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the annual risk-based IT audit plan in collaboration with regional and local audit leadership.
• Lead or deliver a portfolio of IT audits, including:
  • Information security (AS/400, Unix)
  • Network infrastructure
  • Database management (DB2, Oracle)
  • Data centre operations
  • Disaster recovery & business continuity
  • Systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Integrated business and IT audits
• Monitor audit progress, quality, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Review audit workpapers and reports to ensure compliance with audit methodology and standards.
• Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and obtain management action plans.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Lead, coach, and mentor audit team members, supporting performance and career development.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Internal Audit function.

To excel as a Senior IT Audit Manager, you should bring strong IT audit experience from financial institutions or consulting firms serving banking and insurance clients. Your expertise should cover security audits, network infrastructure, database administration, data centre operations, disaster recovery, and IT project reviews. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to influence senior leaders are essential. You are a collaborative leader who coaches teams, promotes knowledge sharing, and applies strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with OJK regulations is an advantage, along with a commitment to high ethical standards and a positive organisational culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CISA preferred.
• 10+ years of IT audit experience within banking, insurance, financial services, or consulting.
• Strong experience in:
  • IT security audits (AS/400, Unix)
  • Network architecture reviews (firewalls, routers)
  • Database audits (DB2, Oracle)
  • Data centre and IT operations reviews
  • Disaster recovery and business continuity assessments
  • SDLC and IT project audits
• Experience supporting integrated business and IT audits.
• Familiarity with CAATs tools such as ACL or IDEA is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Indonesian regulatory requirements (OJK) preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
