Consumer Banking Relationship Manager
The role is primarily responsible for developing, managing, and growing a portfolio of retail/consumer banking customers to achieve assigned financial and service targets. The incumbent will focus on delivering a full suite of consumer banking products — including savings, deposits, personal loans, mortgages, credit cards, and investment products — while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of individual clients, providing tailored financial solutions based on customer needs and profiles.

Acquire new customers through targeted marketing, referrals, and networking activities.

Promote and cross-sell the full range of consumer banking products and services to maximize portfolio profitability.

Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities, address service issues, and ensure continued customer engagement.

Maintain strong knowledge of product features, benefits, and pricing to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.

Monitor account activity to detect potential issues or risks, ensuring all transactions comply with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

Prepare and process loan and credit card applications, ensuring accurate documentation and timely approvals.

Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, credit, compliance) to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.

Keep abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Qualifications & Requirements

University degree, preferably in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

5–8 years of experience in consumer/retail banking, sales, or relationship management.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and service targets.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
