What you'll do:

As Tax Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing all aspects of tax compliance for the organisation’s diverse operations. Success in this role requires you to be attentive to detail while nurturing a collaborative spirit within your team. You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge generously through training initiatives while benefiting from flexible working arrangements that support your personal wellbeing. Your ability to connect with others across departments will be key in ensuring smooth operations and achieving optimal results.

  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all tax compliance requirements including SPT, VAT, WHT, payroll reconciliations, and comprehensive reporting for the organisation.
  • Monitor updates in Indonesian tax regulations closely and advise management on potential implications to maintain compliance and minimise risks.
  • Handle tax audits, SP2DK processes, objections, appeals, and manage tax court proceedings efficiently while maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Prepare supporting materials for tax dispute resolution by collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide insightful tax planning and advisory services aimed at optimising operational efficiency and minimising exposure to risk.
  • Coordinate effectively with various departments as well as external consultants on all tax-related matters to foster a collaborative approach.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with tax authorities through considerate communication and responsible representation of the company’s interests.
  • Supervise, coach, and nurture the development of tax team members by providing guidance, feedback, and support for their professional growth.
  • Continuously improve tax processes, policies, and internal controls by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation is required; Brevet A & B certifications are mandatory while Brevet C or Registered Tax Consultant/CPA qualifications are considered advantageous.
  • 8–10 years of proven experience in taxation including at least two years in a supervisory capacity within FMCG, manufacturing or multinational environments is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Indonesian tax laws as well as dispute handling procedures such as audit management, SP2DK responses, objections, appeals and court processes is essential.
  • Proficiency in using tax software alongside advanced skills in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is necessary for effective performance.
  • Excellent analytical abilities combined with strong problem-solving skills enable you to address complex issues thoughtfully.
  • Outstanding communication skills allow you to explain intricate concepts clearly while building trust among colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities marked by high integrity and meticulous attention to detail are vital for guiding your team responsibly.
