What you'll do:

As Group Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health of the organisation by managing group reporting activities across multiple regions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve reviewing consolidated financial statements, preparing management reports for senior leaders, analysing subsidiary performance data, coordinating external audits, guiding finance teams through complex challenges, developing robust financial forecasts for business planning purposes, ensuring tax compliance across several jurisdictions, and collaborating closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners. Success in this role requires a commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills for coaching teams, and an ability to navigate multi-entity structures with ease. You will be instrumental in driving transparency and reliability in financial reporting while supporting the organisation’s growth ambitions.

  • Oversee group reporting activities including consolidation processes and reconciliation of intercompany transactions across multiple entities.
  • Review monthly and annual financial statements for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with PSAK and IFRS standards.
  • Prepare timely financial statements and management reporting packages for senior stakeholders within the organisation.
  • Analyse financial reports from subsidiaries to provide insightful commentary on performance trends and variances.
  • Coordinate external audit processes by liaising with auditors and managing audit requirements for all operating units.
  • Coach and guide finance teams throughout the group, fostering knowledge sharing and co-operative problem solving.
  • Develop financial projections, forecasts, and analyses to support valuation exercises and strategic business planning initiatives.
  • Review monthly tax compliance for entities in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and China, ensuring adherence to local regulations.
  • Oversee preparation of Annual Corporate Income Tax Returns in accordance with prevailing tax laws.
  • Collaborate with tax authorities and audit teams when required to resolve queries or manage audits.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Group Reporting Manager position brings extensive experience in accounting, taxation, finance or group reporting gained within multinational organisations. Your background includes significant exposure to consolidation processes as well as intercompany transaction management. Having worked at a Big 4 Accounting Firm equips you with best-in-class audit practices while your regional experience across Southeast Asia provides valuable insight into local regulatory requirements. You are proficient in using modern accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics BC 365 and possess deep knowledge of Indonesian tax frameworks. • Minimum 6–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, finance or group reporting within multinational environments is required.

  • Experience handling reporting for subsidiaries within multi-entity group structures is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external audits effectively by coordinating with auditors across different regions.
  • Regional exposure or working experience involving Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand or China is preferred as it enhances understanding of cross-border finance practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics BC 365 is advantageous but not essential; familiarity with e-SPT/Coretax applications is also beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian taxation regulations coupled with excellent analytical skills ensures compliance across all entities.
  • Excellent command of English (written & spoken) is required; proficiency in Mandarin is considered an advantage for broader communication needs.
