Finance Controller

As Financial Controller, you will be at the heart of the organisation’s financial operations. Our client is active in the Oil & gas Indusgtry. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with various departments to ensure robust financial controls are maintained while driving improvements in budgeting, forecasting, and accounting processes. You will be responsible for producing detailed management reports that inform strategic decisions.

What will you be doing as Financial Controller

* Collaborate with the Finance Control Manager to ensure all financial operations are conducted efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.

* Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making across the business.

* Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.

* Prepare timely financial reports for management review, highlighting key trends and variances to facilitate informed business decisions.

* Support the continuous improvement of finance structures by identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing best practices.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance on projects and initiatives, fostering a culture of cooperation and shared success.

* Assist in external audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.

* Monitor cash flow, manage working capital effectively, and contribute to the optimisation of financial resources within the organisation.

* Travel as required to company sites or meetings, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to supporting business needs across locations.

What you bring as Financial controller

To excel as Financial Controller, you will bring proven experience from a similar position within a listed Indonesian company. Your background in accounting equips you with the technical know-how required for this multifaceted role.

* A minimum of five years’ experience working within a listed company in Indonesia, demonstrating your understanding of complex corporate environments.

* A solid background in accounting, supported by relevant qualifications or certifications that underpin your technical expertise.

* Willingness to relocate outside Jakarta, showing your adaptability and commitment to contributing wherever needed.

* Openness to travel as part of your role, enabling you to connect with colleagues across multiple locations and support business objectives.

* Excellent communication skills that allow you to explain complex financial information clearly to both finance professionals and non-specialists alike.

* Strong analytical abilities that enable you to interpret data accurately and provide valuable insights for decision-making purposes.
