What you'll do:
As Senior Manager Accounting, you will be entrusted with significant responsibility over the design and execution of all core accounting activities within the organisation’s Jakarta office. Your daily focus will include managing a talented team of professionals across various disciplines such as accounts payable, receivable, treasury management, and general ledger maintenance. - Oversee the entire accounting function by guiding day-to-day activities of the team, setting clear performance targets, monitoring progress, and supporting ongoing professional development for each member.
- Design and manage the structure of the accounting team to ensure comprehensive coverage across accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury functions, and general ledger activities.
- Lead the creation, review, and optimisation of accounting processes to maintain sustainable, accurate, and efficient workflows that align with organisational objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits related to accounting topics, ensuring timely preparation of documentation and effective communication with auditors.
- Direct the month-end closing process and prepare financial statements in strict compliance with both international and local accounting standards as well as statutory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with tax consultants to devise control measures in tax planning while ensuring full compliance with all relevant local tax laws and regulations.
- Monitor cash flow forecasts meticulously to meet operational needs while proactively identifying potential risks or opportunities for improvement.

- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications; familiarity with SAP ERP systems or Power BI analytics tools would be beneficial but not essential.
