What you'll do:
As Treasury Manager based in Jakarta, you will play an integral part in safeguarding the organisation’s financial stability by overseeing all aspects of cash flow planning and liquidity management. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close monitoring of bank balances to ensure sufficient funds are available for both immediate operational needs and longer-term projects. You will manage key banking relationships—negotiating terms for credit facilities—and take charge of all treasury operations from payments processing through to reconciliations. - Support long-term financing initiatives by aligning capital management efforts with overall company objectives and future growth plans.
- Identify potential financial risks related to foreign exchange fluctuations, interest rate changes, or market volatility; implement effective mitigation measures accordingly.
- Ensure full compliance with local financial regulations as well as internal corporate treasury policies through diligent monitoring and reporting.
- Prepare regular treasury reports including cash flow statements and covenant tracking for both management review and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, tax, accounting, and operations teams to align treasury goals with broader business strategy while providing insights for M&A or investment decisions.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a closely related field is required for this position.
- A minimum of 8–10 years’ experience working within treasury management, cash management or corporate finance roles is essential.
- Prior exposure to the tobacco industry or experience within FMCG or manufacturing sectors would be highly advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of banking products including FX hedging solutions as well as advanced cash flow forecasting techniques is expected.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modelling purposes is necessary; familiarity with ERP systems would be considered beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data sets coupled with excellent negotiation skills when dealing with external stakeholders such as banks or lenders.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities enabling effective collaboration across multiple departments including procurement, tax and accounting functions.
- Fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English is mandatory given the need for clear communication internally and externally.
