Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Treasury Manager to lead and oversee their treasury operations. This role is critical in ensuring optimal cash flow planning, managing liquidity, supporting project financing initiatives, and facilitating efficient capital allocation, including dividend distributions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury, preferably from the energy, oil & gas, or mining sector.

What you'll do:

As a Treasury Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the organization's treasury operations. Your expertise in cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning will be crucial in maintaining financial stability. You will take charge of structuring project financing deals while negotiating with various stakeholders. Overseeing banking relationships across multiple jurisdictions will fall under your purview. You will also manage dividend distribution processes while ensuring compliance with internal governance. Monitoring the company's debt portfolio will be an integral part of your role. Collaborating with various teams on treasury-related activities will be expected of you. Your strategic input on capital allocation and long-term financial planning will be highly valued.

  • Develop and manage the company’s cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning to ensure financial stability and operational continuity.
  • Oversee project financing deals, including liaising with banks, financial institutions, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee banking relationships and optimize banking structures and services across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage dividend distribution processes, ensuring compliance with internal governance and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and manage the company’s debt portfolio, including loan covenants, repayment schedules, and refinancing activities.
  • Ensure adherence to treasury policies, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
  • Collaborate with accounting, tax, and legal teams on treasury-related activities and capital structuring.
  • Provide strategic input on capital allocation, funding strategies, and long-term financial planning.
  • Support financial audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

What you bring:

The ideal Treasury Manager will bring a wealth of experience in treasury or corporate finance. Your background in project financing within capital-intensive industries will be highly regarded. You will have strong experience in cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and capital management. Familiarity with dividend payments and capital return mechanisms is expected. Your excellent knowledge of financial instruments, debt structuring, and treasury operations will be crucial for this role. Prior experience in oil & gas, mining, or energy sectors will give you an edge. Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is a must.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA/CPA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in treasury or corporate finance, preferably in a multinational or large-scale company.
  • Big 4 experience (audit, advisory, or transaction services) is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in project financing, particularly within capital-intensive industries.
  • Strong experience in cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and capital management.
  • Familiarity with dividend payments and capital return mechanisms.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial instruments, debt structuring, and treasury operations.
  • Prior experience in oil & gas, mining, or energy sectors is a significant advantage.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
