Finance Director

What you'll do:

* Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to develop and execute business strategies that drive growth across retail stores, e-commerce platforms, and distribution channels.
* Provide insightful financial recommendations that support commercial and operational decision-making throughout the organisation.
* Lead annual strategic planning processes as well as long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Support new store openings, omnichannel expansion projects, and potential acquisitions or partnerships by delivering robust financial analysis.
* Present financial performance metrics and key business insights to shareholders and senior leaders in clear, accessible formats.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews while monitoring sales growth, gross margin, operating expenses, EBITDA, and cash flow.
* Develop KPIs for retail, e-commerce, and distribution channels; identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost optimisation through detailed analysis.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with statutory requirements; manage external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors and regulatory bodies.
* Act as a strategic finance partner to Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and E-commerce teams by evaluating investment opportunities and supporting supplier negotiations.
* Lead finance process improvement initiatives including digital transformation projects such as ERP implementation; build scalable processes to support ongoing business growth.

What you bring:

To excel as Finance Director you will bring extensive experience from senior finance roles within luxury retail or consumer product environments. Your proven track record includes leading teams through complex transformations such as ERP implementations or process automation projects. You possess deep technical knowledge covering accounting standards, tax compliance frameworks, treasury management practices and internal controls. * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline is required; CPA, CA, ACCA or MBA qualification is highly preferred for this position.
* You bring 12–15+ years of progressive experience in finance roles with at least 5 years spent in senior leadership positions such as Finance Director or Head of Finance.
* Experience within premium beauty retail, cosmetics, luxury fashion or consumer products sectors is highly desirable; exposure to omnichannel operations is advantageous.
* A strong background in commercial finance including business partnering skills as well as expertise in financial planning & analysis is essential for success.
* Proven ability managing inventory-intensive businesses alongside multi-channel operations demonstrates your adaptability within complex environments.
* Experience leading finance transformation initiatives including ERP implementation projects showcases your commitment to process improvement.
* Solid knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, treasury management practices and internal controls ensures compliance across all functions.
