An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a rapidly expanding international consumer goods business headquartered in Indonesia. This pivotal role will be a key strategic and operational executive responsible for leading the financial performance, strategic planning, and operational finance of a fast-growing international consumer goods business headquartered in Indonesia. This role requires experience in the FMCG industry. The role will be based in Surabaya.

The company manufactures through a third-party manufacturing arrangement, undertakes repacking and export preparation activities, and distributes products into major international markets including Australia and the United States. This role requires a commercially astute CFO with deep expertise in complex supply chain finance, outsourced manufacturing models, international export operations, cost management, and strategic finance leadership. The successful candidate must combine strategic financial capability with hands-on operational finance leadership to drive profitability, working capital optimisation, and scalable international growth.

What you'll do:

Strategic Finance & Leadership

• Partner with MD and Board to shape and execute strategic growth plans.
• Lead long-range financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic modelling.
• Provide financial leadership on market expansion, pricing strategy, and investment decisions.
• Support Board, shareholders, and investors with strategic financial insights and reporting.
• Evaluate M&A, strategic partnerships, and expansion opportunities.

Financial Management & Governance

• Lead all accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, audit, and compliance activities.
• Ensure robust internal controls and governance across Indonesia and export markets.
• Manage cash flow, debt, banking relationships, and capital requirements.
• Oversee statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Supply Chain / Operational Finance

• Lead financial oversight of third-party manufacturing arrangements including:
• Contract manufacturing economics
• Supplier performance and margin analysis
• Contract negotiation support
• Drive cost transparency and optimisation across outsourced manufacturing and repacking operations.
• Build detailed landed cost and cost-to-serve models across export markets.
• Partner with Operations/Supply Chain teams to optimise:
• Repacking operations
• Freight and cold chain logistics
• Warehousing
• Inventory management
• Procurement
• Lead SKU / customer / channel profitability analysis.

Commercial Finance

• Support pricing, trade spend, and promotional investment decisions.
• Partner with Sales/Commercial teams on customer profitability and contract negotiations.
• Evaluate market/channel performance and recommend portfolio optimisation.

Export / International Trade Finance

• Manage FX risk, duties, tariffs, transfer pricing, and export pricing models.
• Ensure landed cost and export profitability are tightly controlled.
• Provide financial oversight of international trade compliance and regulatory requirements.

What you bring:

• 15+ years finance leadership experience with prior CFO / Finance Director capability.
• Experience in consumer goods / FMCG / food manufacturing / export businesses.
• Strong experience with outsourced / contract manufacturing models.
• Deep supply chain and operational finance expertise.
• Proven cost management and margin improvement experience.
• Experience managing complex international export businesses.
• Strong working capital and cash flow management capability.
• Demonstrated strategic planning and executive leadership experience.
