Head of Investor relations

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Head of Investor Relations to join our vibrant and diverse team. This is a confidential position reporting directly to the COO. The role will play a critical part in managing relationships with high-level stakeholders, preparing for an IPO targeted for 2027, and ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and external investors.

Key Responsibilities as Head of Investor Relations

Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other capital market stakeholders.
• Act as the primary liaison for monthly management meetings with key investors (e.g., JWC, Sequoia), involving VP Sales, VP Finance, and other senior leaders.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports, company performance presentations, and other investor communication materials.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, company stock activity, and investor feedback to support effective communication strategies.

IPO Preparation & Project Management

• Serve as the PMO lead for IPO initiatives, managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, corporate teams, and external consultants (underwriters, legal advisors, auditors) to ensure compliance with capital market regulations.
• Prepare IPO-related documents such as the prospectus, IPO presentation deck, due diligence reports, and ESG audits.
• Provide strategic insights to management based on market analysis and investor input.

Internal Collaboration

• Liaise closely with corporate and commercial teams—primarily finance—to ensure alignment on reporting and compliance requirements.
• Work effectively with diverse internal stakeholders; build strong chemistry with challenging personalities like VP Finance.

Qualifications needed to be Head of Investor Relations

• Proven experience in investor relations or related fields such as corporate finance or capital markets.
• Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with IPO processes and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to present complex information clearly to high-level stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships across diverse teams and personalities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor market trends and provide actionable insights.
