Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Sales Manager with a strong background in software sales and business development. What you'll do:


As a Senior Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be expanding the client base for our client's product offerings. You will be instrumental in identifying, qualifying, and closing new or existing business opportunities. Your role will involve presenting solutions to new prospects, recording all customer interactions in the CRM system, preparing action plans to identify potential clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, following up on leads from marketing activities, preparing presentations and proposals, maintaining status reports on sales pipeline opportunities, communicating new product opportunities to relevant staff members, coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver proposals within deadlines.


* Present and sell the company’s solutions to new prospects in the specified region
* Record all customer contact information and sales activities in company CRM, adhering to the company’s sales process and policy
* Prepare action/business plans and schedules to identify potential clients and sales strategies
* Maintain relationships and build further sales opportunities with current / existing clients
* Follow up new leads and referrals resulting from marketing activity
* Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
* Prepare presentations, proposals, tender responses and sales contracts
* Prepare and maintain status reports, including sales pipeline opportunities, probability of closing and follow ups
* Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, client information or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
* Coordinate key stakeholders in management, operations, product management and development divisions to deliver proposals within required deadlines and close sales


What you bring:


The ideal candidate for this Senior Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience in business development, client consultation, and delivery of IT or Mining solutions. With over 7 years of experience in the field, you have a strong understanding of software sales and licence services. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to effectively engage with clients and team members alike. You have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, with most of your revenue derived from new customers.


* Proven sales skills including lead generation, networking, communication, solution identification, closing
* Strong understanding of software sales and licence services
* 7+ years’ experience in business development, client consultation and delivery of IT or Mining solutions
* Experience in software sales or similar vendor environment
* Mining related experience is beneficial
* Excellent written & verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment
* Stable track record of achieving above budget sales performance where most revenue was derived from new customers
