An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and result oriented Head of Merchant Acquisition in the Property Tech sector. This role is based in the vibrant city of Jakarta and offers an exceptional chance to lead and inspire a high-performing business team. The main purpose of this role is to drive business growth of a Property Tech company in Indonesia.

What you'll do:

As a Head of Merchant Acquisition you will be at the key of driving business growth and strategy in Indonesia.

You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by strategically leading our merchant and partner acquisition efforts. Your responsibilities will include creating a robust business model, channelising sales efforts, and effectively capturing market share. You’ll be at the forefront of business development, revenue generation, and profit and loss (P&L) ownership.

  • Lead, direct, and own the Merchant Acquisition Business.
  • Develop and implement a strategic approach to acquire new merchants and partners
  • Effectively capture market share by understanding Property & Land Development industry dynamics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product development, and customer service) to align marketing efforts with overall business goal. Strategically position our services to maximise revenue.
  • Lead and inspire a large team of agents and professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment. Ensure team members are aligned with business goals and motivated to excel.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Head of Merchant Acquisition role brings a wealth of experience from the Tech, Insurance Tech, and additionally Property sector. You have demonstrated your ability to lead a forward thinking sales team. Your strategic thinking allows you to define business KPIs and develop data-driven strategies effectively. You are adept at identifying new opportunities, resolving challenges, and managing resources efficiently. Your leadership skills are second to none, and you have a proven track record of inspiring, motivating, and coaching teams.

  • Minimum 7 years on Sales, Business Development, Partnership or relevant fields.
  • Proven experience in leading large teams and managing agents.
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on results.
