Senior Product Owner

A rapidly expanding fintech company is seeking a talented Senior Product Owner in Jakarta to take on a newly created role. In this job, you will become an individual contributor and be responsible for product-related functions.

About the Senior Product Owner Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Senior Product Owner will play a key role in the product team’s continued development by bringing everything available online so the customer can shop around for financial products online and apply online without having to physically visit a bank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, analyse, define product features and create metrics to measure the impact of your product to the company
• Be the primary driver of your product's planning and execution including writing the specs of new features and enhancements
• Come up with product roadmap and rally other people to join the product vision
• Prototype your vision to convince others if necessary
• Work with other stakeholders, including engineers, designers, ops, sales, legal and even external partners to achieve goals

To succeed in the Senior Product Owner job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (S1), and has advanced degrees i.e. master's, Phd, MBA, is a plus
• Prior experience as a product manager/software developer/UX designer/project manager
• Passionate about data-driven product development and agile product development with excellent analytical skills to process the data
• Proficiency in, at least, one programming language such as Java, PHP, Javascript, Python, Ruby, Rust, Go, Haskell
• Detail-oriented, a strong planner and well organised
• A strong drive to make things happen
• Solid verbal and written communications skills in English and Bahasa
