VP Product

A rapidly expanding payment solution firm is looking for a talented candidate for a newly created VP Product job in Jakarta. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all product-related functions.

About the VP Product Role:
In this business critical role, you will work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Translate high level strategic initiatives into clear and detailed product execution
• End-to-end ownership of a product by designing the best feature related to the product and company's needs
• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas to grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Work closely with technical teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
• Create detailed requirements with the Data and Tech team in product development life cycle
• Deeply and continuously monitor, plan, analyse, and evaluate features and products
• Manage product teams and conduct sessions to ensure progress of product development and alignment with business objectives
• Conduct market analysis and competitors' analysis to identify product opportunity including plan and conduct UX and customer research

To succeed in this VP Product role, you must have the ability working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and passionate about building products based on customer needs.

Key Requirements:

• At least seven years' experience of working in Product development with minimum of three years' experience in leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, Business Studies, Accounting, Economics or equivalent
• Previous experience in a high-paced start up environment with exposure in payment solution will be added value
• Strong interpersonal skills and self driven with great communication written and verbally in English
• Good skill of time management and cross function organisational abilities
• Sharp product sense and unlimited ideas about how to improve the product
• High curiosity, initiative, and strong willingness to learn and grow
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, having knowledge in presentation, product development life cycle and agile development
