Our client is seeking an experienced Head of IT Security to develop and oversee their organisation's security strategy, ensuring the protection of their systems, data, and assets against cyber threats. What you'll do:

As the Head of IT Security, your role will be pivotal in developing and overseeing the organisation's security strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring the protection of their systems, data, and assets against cyber threats. Your leadership skills will be utilised as you lead a team of security professionals while collaborating across departments. Your responsibilities will also include establishing policies and practices to safeguard their information infrastructure.

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
* 10+ years of experience in information security or cybersecurity roles
* Proficiency in security tools and platforms (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls)
* Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
* Experience with security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
* Excellent leadership and people management abilities
* Strong communication skills to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
