What you'll do:

As Chief Technology Officer based in Jakarta, You will guide teams through platform upgrades, cloud migrations, and enhancements to digital channels that put customers first. • Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with the bank’s strategic priorities and regulatory frameworks.

• Lead cloud adoption and migration initiatives for core banking and surrounding ecosystems, ensuring scalability, resilience, and compliance

• Partner with business units to embed cloud-enabled technologies into product and service innovation to enhance customer experience and improve operational efficiency.

• Drive digital transformation including core banking modernization, data & analytics, open banking initiatives, and AI-driven capabilities.

• Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential to support future business models and regulatory demands.

• Oversee the architecture, migration, and delivery of cloud-based platforms while ensuring hybrid infrastructure stability.

• Ensure the performance, security, and 99.9%+ uptime of mission-critical banking systems, both on-premise and in cloud environments.

• Establish a robust cloud governance framework to manage cost, compliance, and operational risks.

• Optimize vendor partnerships to accelerate cloud adoption while delivering measurable ROI

• Build and mentor a high-performing technology organization skilled in cloud-native development, modern engineering practices, and secure operations.

What you bring:

To excel as Chief Technology Officer in this prominent Jakarta-based institution, you will bring extensive experience from senior roles within banking or financial services where you have led transformative change. Your background should include successful delivery of major technology programmes such as cloud migrations or platform upgrades alongside deep familiarity with cyber security requirements specific to regulated industries.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; MBA preferred.

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including 5–7 years in executive-level roles in banking or financial services.

• Proven track record of leading large-scale cloud migration initiatives in a regulated banking environment (including core banking systems and critical workloads).

• Expertise in modernizing legacy banking infrastructure, API-first architecture, and cloud-native applications.

• Experience overseeing hybrid infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance in both on-prem and cloud settings.

• Strong background in cyber security, enterprise architecture, and vendor ecosystem management.

• Strategic thinker with strong business and financial acumen.

• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at Board, regulatory, and cross-functional levels.

• Skilled in change management for complex transformation programs, particularly cloud adoption.

• Proven success in building cloud-savvy, customer-focused technology teams.
