CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (Contract)
Our client is seeking a visionary and execution-driven Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its digital transformation strategy and drive long-term technological innovation. The CTO will be responsible for architecting and executing a three-year Digital Transformation Roadmap, ensuring the delivery of scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions across the enterprise.
What you'll do:
As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be at the forefront of our client's digital transformation journey. Your primary responsibility will be to architect and execute a three-year Digital Transformation Roadmap that ensures the delivery of scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions across the enterprise. You will provide leadership in areas such as IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and data center development. Additionally, your role will involve managing stakeholders effectively to ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business goals.
- Define and implement a three-year Digital Transformation Roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Lead the modernization of IT infrastructure, application architecture, and enterprise systems to enhance operational efficiency and business agility
- Drive the adoption of cloud computing, automation, AI/ML, IoT, and cybersecurity best practices to future-proof operations
- Oversee the design, construction, and operation of a new data centre, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security
- Establish cloud and hybrid IT strategies, optimizing performance and cost-efficiency
- Implement robust cyber security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

- 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, including CTO, CIO, or IT Director in large-scale energy, utilities, or industrial enterprises
- Proven track record in driving successful enterprise digital transformation programs, from strategy to execution
- Experience in building and managing data center from ground up, including design, implementation, and operations
- Deep knowledge of data integration management systems (IT) with industrial operation systems (OT) and industrial automation
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance, and risk management related to IT in the energy sector
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams
- Experience in leading large teams, managing budgets, and driving cultural transformation in technology organisation
