DATA CENTER OPERATION DIRECTOR
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Operations Director to ensure optimal and uninterrupted operations of their data center facilities. This role is pivotal in shaping and overseeing the entire operations team, managing the data center infrastructure, and ensuring all systems operate within specification for their clients.
What you'll do:
As a Data Center Operations Director, your role will be critical in ensuring optimal performance of the data center facilities. You will be responsible for creating, shaping, and leading the operations team while managing the infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating with various teams to support business development initiatives. You will also oversee daily operations, manage vendor relationships, lead disaster recovery efforts, and develop the operational budget.
- Build-up, train, and lead the data center operations team, overseeing all facilities management
- Manage and monitor data center operations, including power, cooling, networking, and physical security systems
- Work collaboratively with the data centre business development team to provide technical and operational support
- Ensure 24/7 uptime by proactively addressing risks, incidents, and system redundancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, facilities management, and security teams, for smooth operations
- Supervise cyber, physical, and logical security requirements.
- Develop and control the operational budget.
