Red Hat is seeking a Strategy Lead – Business Value to develop and drive strategic initiatives that demonstrate the tangible value of Red Hat solutions to customers. This role will bridge business and technology, partnering with clients, sales teams, and technical stakeholders to identify business challenges and articulate how Red Hat’s open-source solutions can deliver measurable outcomes.


What you'll do:

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and a deep understanding of how technology drives business transformation. They will play a critical role in helping Red Hat’s clients achieve their goals while positioning Red Hat as a trusted partner. You will collaborate with Red Hat teams and customer senior executives to uncover, define, and communicate the financial impact for the adoption of Red Hat’s solutions. Your success will result in the strategic elevation of Red Hat with customers, leading to an expansion in our revenue and pipeline.

  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop customer-centric business value propositions for Red Hat solutions
  • Work with clients to identify pain points and align Red Hat's offerings with their strategic goals, showcasing measurable outcomes such as cost savings, operational efficiency, and revenue growth
  • Build customized business cases and ROI analyses to support client decision-making
  • Lead workshops, value discovery sessions, and executive presentations to drive client engagement and alignment
  • Partner with sales leadership to integrate business value messaging into strategic account planning
  • Accelerate Achievement of Enterprise Sales Targets with Value Management
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor positioning, and market opportunities to refine go-to-market strategies

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Value Practice Lead role brings a wealth of experience in leading a business value practice. You have a strong background in business analysis and are adept at using these skills to drive strategic decisions. Your expertise in strategic consulting has been honed over years of experience and you are comfortable guiding the direction of a business value practice. You have hands-on experience in value engineering within the technology sector and understand how to apply this knowledge to enhance offerings. Your ability to collaborate effectively with various teams is second nature and you have a proven track record of delivering significant business outcomes.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic roles, including business consulting, value engineering, or technology strategy

  • Proven experience in the IT or open-source software industry is highly desirable

  • Experience engaging with C-level executives and complex internal stakeholder groups

  • Presentation skills including public speaking, meeting facilitation, and whiteboarding

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in business administration is a plus

  • Ability to accommodate business travel for delivering customer engagements
