About the Head of IT Role:
You will lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, ensuring they have the skills and support needed to meet their objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, ensuring they have the skills and support needed to meet their objectives. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery. Oversee procurement and maintenance of IT resources and assets
• Evaluate, implement and enforce IT policies and procedures. Ensure IT is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and audit standards
• Develop and implement a customer-centric, forward-thinking IT strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and supports its growth. This includes conducting research on new technologies, understanding the organisation's technology needs, and identifying opportunities for improvements
• Provide key inputs to IT Steering Committee on IT related issues and developments in the banking and financing industry
• Oversee the design, maintenance, and enhancement of the organisation's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems. Ensure all IT assets are reliable, updated, secure, and able to support the business operations effectively and efficiently

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong leadership, decision making capability in the IT field.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Information System/IT Engineering/Equal
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in information system
• Preferably with a similar role in an investment bank, securities, or private holding company and at least three years in a structural/managerial position
• Proven experience in a senior IT management role, with a track record of strategic planning, team leadership, risk management, change management, and project management
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, architectures, and best practices
• Excellent understanding of IT risk management, incident detection, incident response and compliance management
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management abilities. Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical staff and stakeholders
