Solution Engineer

A market-leading start up is recruiting for a Solution Engineer job for join their team in Jakarta. Reporting to Regional Head of Engineer, you will have full responsibility for the development of the company's project delivery.

About the Solution Engineer Role:
In this role, you will get to use your domain knowledge and experience to define the use cases, and then apply both your creative and technical prowess to design solutions to tackle the challenges while implementing the company's vision, data science and cloud computing infrastructure at your disposal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the business customers, business development and product owners to understand and support customers needs
• Apply the company's solutions with a strong understanding of both business needs and technology capabilities
• Articulate the company's needs and objectives to product development and engineering
• Through creative solutions, drive widespread user adoption within our customer organisations
• Ability to develop derivative data products in order to build value for the customers

To succeed in this Solution Engineer rolem you will have a minimum of eight years' experience in solution engineering preferably within the technology industry.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to manage many simultaneous technical and functional responsibilities, and exercise strong interpersonal/communication skills as part of a diverse and growing team
• At least three years' experience with programming languages: Python as primary language and other languages like SQL, R, are mandatory
• Experience with tools and software such as QGIS, ESRI, GDAL and/or OGR
• Strong research and data analysis skills, meticulousness, and attention to detail are required
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or data-heavy discipline such as economics, statistics, etc.
